Nuxt for a portfolio site?

Hi all!

There is a portfolio website built in Gulp and hosted on Github Pages. I did it purely for placement in the resume.
Started learning Vue and migrated site from Gulp to Vue CLI. I connected everything as it should: vuex, router, meta, axios, etc., but I load data and pictures via JSONs. In fact, there is no database, and user actions such as registration and comments are also not required. Although I was thinking about creating a blog there (still in doubt) ... The site has been tested, now it looks like a portfolio with pages like: about yourself, portfolio, certificates, price list, contacts and other little things. That is, not just for resumes, but also for clients. I wanted to put it on GitHub, but... Recently I started to get to know Nuxt better and now I'm thinking, should I transfer such a simple site to Nuxt or leave it to Vue CLI? What do you advise? Should I then buy a domain for it?
ps the main question: Is it worth chasing trends or let it hang as it is? And then keeping the site on the gallop in 2020 is somehow embarrassing ...))

Why didn't you like gulp? For such sites, it is best suited. Vue and nuxt are redundant on these sites. BUT since you are just learning the tools, then this is quite a practice, and if I were you, I would transfer it to Nuxt. Think about it, maybe you can add more interactivity, so vue is no longer about websites, but about web applications.
