Number of columns in a responsive product layout?

The question is mostly for designers, but specialists from other fields can also take part if they come across this.
The crux of the matter is: how many columns in the grid do you use for each responsive design layout, do you mean desktop, tablet, mobile? For example, I use: desktop - 12, tablet - 9, mobile -6.
It is interesting to compare and come to some kind of general conclusion so that you can share it with the younger generation, otherwise the grid for them will hurt you.

12 in all resolutions. Eliminating columns is acceptable only for the designer, in reality, the number of columns does not change in all resolutions. Why increase the misunderstanding between designers and layout designers? 12 columns don't get in the way even in a 320-pixel layout if you get used to it. And there is more freedom of action than trying to hang around in 6 columns.
