Node process.once 'SIGTERM' can I flush the cache?

Node process.once 'SIGTERM' can I flush the cache? I have a server that participates in pub / sub, it has a piece of data that it caches, and then passes it to another process to do something with it.

Can I using SIGTERM listening. Drop the server cache so that it is stored locally in JSON? (in case of an error, or adding an update).
