No internet connection xubuntu?

When I started using Ubuntu, I tried to install xubuntu. It didn’t work out very well, only the screen became from xubuntu when the system was booted. Now I tried to set up mysql, restart the PC and I got full xubuntu. I didn’t mind, but it turned out that there was no Internet, just no hint of no, no icons, no words in the settings. Got into Google tried to change the grup line, nothing happened. Who can help? I will be grateful! Happy New Year everyone!

use ifconfig to see the name of the Internet interface, set the dhcp rule for the interface in etc/network/interfaces
