No driver or database connection?

They gave a project written in Yii 1.1.17
Without any documentation
I bought a vps on firstvds
somehow configured it so that the site was displayed and not giving a 500 error and now there was such a problem
CDbConnection failed to open the DB connection: could not find driver
I read that it was either a wrong connection or the lack of a PDO driver
is enabled on the server, I checked the connection to the database, everything is correct.
What could be wrong?
Before that, I worked with laravel and there were no such problems.
Before me, the site was uploaded to a regular hosting and everything worked,
could this be due to the fact that it is a vps?
