Nikon 1 J3: Buy or not?

Good afternoon dear habravchane!

I am far from being a very good specialist in the field of photography, but I had a need to change equipment after my vacation. I have been eyeing this series for a long time, and then a new model came out for you at CES, I want reviews or a dry look from specialists on TX, of which there are many here and everything is relative to this model. There is no need for a DSLR, I want it without interchangeable lenses.

Actually a couple of links on this device:

Thank you very much for your attention!

In bright sunlight, the screen is not visible. I would advise with a viewfinder, and it will be more convenient to hold the camera with a third fulcrum.
For example - Nikon V2

Sony NEX 5 series is cheaper and subjectively better

As already indicated above, Sony's mirrorless cameras are better. And there are different lines - from the simpler NEX-3 to the fancy NEX-7

javax, I disagree with you, Nikon 1 J3 cameras still have better features than Sony cameras !

As an alternative to this device is it possible, namely in terms of numbers like this model? I think you can't get ux on it yet :)

If you still decide to purchase a Nikon J3 or Nikon V2, today I found an interesting selection of articles on the capabilities of mirrorless cameras (using the Nikon 1 series as an example). You might also find the info useful:
