For the last week I have been observing a constant shutdown of the blog, which is hosted on the most expensive hosting plan Nic.ru. (they write that the tariff is designed for 12 sites)

The blog runs on the latest WP, is almost not loaded with third-party plugins, only the most necessary. Attendance is only 10,000 people a day.

The question is, what can be done? Or is it worth changing the host.

Tariff 201? "Allocated memory - 128" - this is very small. You need a VPS or a dedik from 512MB of RAM (caching, nginx + php-fpm), but I would take 1GB of RAM with the expectation of jumps. It also makes sense to look towards cloud solutions from Selectel, for example. You can write to me in private.

Look in the direction of FirstVDS , I have been working with them for a long time (now I recommend it to everyone :)), I am very pleased with the quality and prices, everything is stable.

I also have trouble with the ru-center, often SMF writes that it cannot reach the base. Sometimes there are more exotic errors, such as files not being found even though they are there.

firstly, there is no information to draw a conclusion about what is happening with the site. 10k a day is just a small load. Plugins - one is enough to kill the site, the question is not how many, but what they are. Look at the page formation time, what requests go to the database. When there is initial data, you can disable plugins and see what changes.
What else can you get from shared hosting… but you won’t see anything. Of course, it is necessary to leave the ru-center - they are just rare assholes. But will it solve the problems? I don't know. In favor of VPS - that you can at least diagnose the problem, watch the loading of resources, and so on. And shared - how the admins configured and how they loaded / rebooted the servers - this is how it will work.

nic.ru saves only nginx in manual mode. Not what shamanism will help you except this method. I put a lot of engines on this hosting for work and always at the maximum rate. Absolutely everything slows down without nginx!
