Nginx why long ttfb?
There is a site that used to be hosted and everything worked okay. Then I moved to another hosting where you need to configure everything yourself. At the beginning there was only apache, then apache + nginx on all configurations there was a long ttfb in the hope that it would get better, completely left apache and switched to nginx. But ttfb only increased to 10-15 sec which is just epic.
Worth nginx + php-fpm + phpxcache + gzip Tell me
what to watch.

How is the server doing? How are the downloads on it? Maybe gzip is even superfluous, if you squeeze it hard, then the process can become ill.
Sending headers is also included in TTFB.
The problem is in the code. Probably IO operations.
