There is a site with a more or less standard Apache + NGINX bundle.
And users of the wonderful browser from Microsoft sometimes see this or that page empty and completely white. Pressing F5 shows the page.
The key word is "sometimes". That is, in most cases, the pages are displayed correctly. I did not notice the patterns of the appearance of such nonsense (except for the one that appears only in IE).
What could be the problem?

usually this problem appears because gzip is included in nginx, which ie does not understand accordingly (at least in version 6). Nothing about compression is visible in the config, so the default config may not work correctly
