network manager ubuntu 11.04
NM works fine on a cord, but Wi-Fi ignores.
check the box next to "wireless". Where Wi-Fi adapters should be, their names are written (one external, the second built-in), but they are inactive and below the signature “wireless network support is disabled”.
Google didn't help.
I set up a connection via wpa_supplicant, but I’ll go crazy constantly writing configs in a cafe.
How to set up Wi-Fi to work with the network manager in two mouse clicks?
iwlist wlan1 scanning - works.

1. There was such a problem on Acer aspire 7551G after installing 11.04. Decided with the first update.
2. Perhaps it makes sense to install wicd network manager (http://wicd.sourceforge.net/)
On U9, there were just problems with nm. I solved it by installing wicd.
Everything works fine on archlinux. Maybe NM is stupid because of two adapters?
I personally had a glitch after switching from 10.10 to 11.04 MN stopped detecting the Wi-Fi card adequately on the HP mini netbook, I'm flying through sudo service network-manager restart. Sometimes it helps the first time, sometimes you have to restart several times ... sometimes it connects to the network after that, sometimes via connect to a hidden network-> and there I select an already configured grid
PS: yes, I understand that this is wrong and all that, but I still can’t do it I can force myself
, perhaps the author has something similar
PS: and Ralink with which I suffered at 10.10 was repaired on the contrary)
