Netwatch in mikrotik. Are there alternatives to ICMP?

Hello. The household has a mikrotik with two providers. On both interfaces, the router receives IP addresses of varying degrees of grayness, that is, everything is as simple and clear as possible. The standard netwatch monitors external gateways of providers and disables the provider's route with a script if its external gateway does not ping.
Usually, this whole construction transfers traffic to ISP2 when the Internet is unavailable through ISP1 and works well if ISP1 has problems, but is completely powerless if ISP1's Internet is not paid. The fact is that the provider (ISP1) does not block ICMP and pings to the outside world are successful, even if the Internet is blocked. How can you teach Mikrotik to understand that there is no Internet access? If possible, without binding to remote nodes.

Write to the provider's TP, this is not normal behavior.

Mikrotik also has a Traffic Monitor utility , use it. Empirically determine the lower limit of the channel load and create a script to switch when this threshold is reached. For sure, erroneous positives are possible - you will need to debug and conjure with the settings (like - at night, do not pay attention to the load and tydy)
