NetBeans standard autocompletion not working?

Hello. Tell me why the standard add-on in Netbeans does not work? That is, I write for example,
echo array_shift($array);
and the function is not supplemented.

PHP support in NetBeans seems to be abandoned: there is still no support for the current version of PHP, and it appears in competitors even before the release.
Try another IDE.

array_shift() retrieves the first element of an array. What is autocompletion and what does NetBeans have to do with it?
