.Net - how to organize a check before loading into the database (parse the database or the log?)?
Dear Experts, The software is developed on .Net and uploads no more than 100 records to a SQL table daily. The essence of the question is that before processing the data that will then be loaded, you need to check if the data with such, for example, "id" has already been loaded.
Is checking for the presence of a record justified by a query to the SQL database, or is it still more economical to keep a log file of loaded id-s and parse it?
THANK YOU very much for the replies!
