NativeScript - what is it?

Vue.js

I love and study Vue.js
The topic of creating "native" applications for iOS \ Android under Javascript is very interesting.
I probably won’t learn ReactNative anymore (the train has left, and I don’t like React itself).
I'm a little familiar with another similar tool - Quasar Framework (because it works in conjunction with
Vue.js ) .
And even about the possibility of linking Vue.js + NativeScript.
Question - what is NativeScript anyway?
Is it something similar to ReactNative, Qauasar Framework and others like them?
Or is this another attempt to "improve" JavaScript - like Dart, CoffeeScript, TypeScript, etc.?
