MySQL or PostgreSQL for PHP Developer in 2020. Do I need to learn MySQL if I know PostgreSQL?

I know there is a lot of information about PostgreSQL and MySQL on the internet, but there is no answer to my question which has some special circumstances.

Read a short introduction to understand what my question is.

To begin with, I am not very experienced in working with the database and RDBMS. At the moment, I have already mastered PHP and the basics of Laravel. In my training projects, I used the simplest queries (I used MySQL). This is where my knowledge ends. So, now I want to dig deeper and learn SQL and some kind of DBMS for web development.

I want to draw your attention to the fact that I received a very good course on PostgreSQL and SQL, I liked the presentation of the material and the preparedness of the author. In this course, we fully study SQL and PostgreSQL (at least the basics of PostgreSQL). Overall, I had very good impressions and expectations from this course.

But I decided to check which DBMS is popular among PHP developers, and the most common answer is MySQL. In this regard, I decided to check the vacancies in my city, and most of them require knowledge of MySQL rather than PostgreSQL. I thought it would be more beneficial for me to learn MySQL, but I didn't find any course more impressive than the above one

. So my questions are:

1) Should I learn MySQL knowing PostgreSQL

2) Is there anyBIG difference what DBMS is used in web development using PHP?
(in principle, there is information on the Internet on this subject, so this question can be skipped)

2) Will I have difficulties meeting with a project with MySQL if I learn PostgreSQL

3) Will there be difficulties in finding a job if I choose PostgreSQL

4) Q it was mentioned in the course description that "All the knowledge you will gain in the course is easily applicable to other DBMS such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle" Truth or sugar for buying the course?

Maybe it sounds funny and stupid, but for me it's a really hard decision, because time is worth its weight in gold, and I don't want to waste it

@ZeroBug

In an ideal world, it is enough for a developer to know standard SQL. But we do not live in an ideal world, so we will have to deal with differences in the implementation of the standard and the peculiarities of the operation of the DBMS, which means it is better to learn both PostgreSQL and MySQL. And it is better not according to courses, but according to textbooks and documentation.
