MySQL database, 1GB, 15 connections - $10 per month - is that a lot?
I'm learning how to deploy a Django project on Azure. The documentation suggests using a third-party service, ClearDB, as a MySQL database. It works and is quick to set up. But, look at the prices - https://www.cleardb.com/pricing/multitenant.view . Probably something I don't understand. Actually this is the question. For $10 a month, I get 1GB (that's disk space, right?) and 15 connections. And approximately the tariff I need costs $ 100 per month. At first glance, these prices seem insane to me. If, again, I don’t confuse anything, the same resources on Amazon (10Gb, I don’t know how many connections) cost 200 (two hundred) times cheaper. Please explain what is this about ClearDB?

pvgdrk : Well, tell me, due to what the azur itself exists. amazon? For example a site. Deployed on four servers on Heitzner. With load. They cost less than 400 euros per month. If we decided to place the same thing in Azura-Amazons, then there would be nothing left for the salary of programmers. But do people use it?
