My eyes hurt a lot behind an IPS monitor, what should I do?

I bought a monitor and now there is such a problem, my eyes are very sore after even a 30-minute stay at the PC.
Monitor: ASUS vx239h-w
I tried to tweak the settings, but it didn't get better, my eyes also hurt, it's not possible to sit, tell me what to do.

And visit an optometrist.

1) Turn down the brightness.
2) Raise the contrast.
3) Try to turn on warmer colors on the monitor (roughly speaking, so that the white is yellowish).
4) Always turn on the background light in the room.
5) Blink more often.
And yes, as Armenian Radio said , visit an ophthalmologist, but not to check visual acuity. Just come and tell your problem. Most likely you will examine the fundus of the eye and so on. Visual acuity does not affect the pain in the eyes from the monitor.

If nothing comes out in terms of settings, then just take it back to the store.
