Moving a site from http to https?

Hello everyone, now it became interesting .. can I transfer my project on Denwer'e from the http protocol to https? If yes.. then how? Why do I need this do not ask just wondering :D

Why Denver? The certificate is issued for a domain name. And on the locale, specify in HTML instead of http://example.comtwo slashes in the URL: //example.com.
