Mouse not working on Ubuntu 14.04 laptop. How to solve the problem?
Good afternoon. I have the following problem. Installed Ubuntu 14.04 on a laptop. The first few days the mouse works fine, then it starts to freeze. If you stick it out and then stick it in again, then the mouse laser shines for the first few seconds, then it goes out again and does not work. Tried on Windows - everything is ok. Also, I tried both wired and wireless mice, the situation did not change.

I'm afraid to assume that this is due to the incorrect operation of energy saving in particular USB.
Perhaps the OS just cuts off without checking whether something is connected to the port or not.
Dig in this direction.
Even on the Ubuntu.ru forum, take a look at the problem indicating the laptop model. There are more people who know what the problem could be.
