Mouse cursor wink. What is the problem?
I noticed that the mouse cursor began to "wink" (Windows 7, x64)
Regularly, about once every 7-8 seconds, it turns from an "arrow" into an "hourglass arrow" for a split second. This both irritates the eye and worries that not everything is correct in the system.
I don't see anything suspicious in the application manager and resource monitor (but I'm not an expert). I think the problem is software, not hardware.
It would probably be easy to identify the problem, or at least narrow down the range of assumptions, if there were a simple program that would show which of the processes changes the shape of the cursor. Then it would be possible to understand who is to blame and what to do next.
