Motherboard - what's in the photo?
Good afternoon, please tell me what is shown in the photo?
Motherboard k9n6pgm2-v2. This black box that lies next to it was on top. What is this cut for? And is there any way to put it back on?

Putting it back on is not a panacea, you must either solder a new or a new board. Connector for hard drives, ssd and floppy drives. But a ripped connector can damage the tracks. So better new board
what is shown in the photo
Connector - solder only.
You can try to connect a disk in ide if you have such a disk ...
Well, or really buy a pci express >>sata board
Well, either work or boot from a USB flash drive, but this is a so-so option
In fact - most likely something else was damaged, look suitable used mother
Reminds me of a joke about a Russian and two titanium balls :) However, after I saw the flop drive inserted into the InWin case (where it was not so impossible to insert something, as it seemed to me in the print) upside down and screwed with a HUGE self-tapping screw - I'm not surprised already nothing.
This is a block of SATA connectors for connecting hard drives. It's impossible to put back. You can send it in for repair, but there is a chance that what ripped out the connector from the board (and what it ripped out - you can see from the photo) damaged the tracks. No, it can be repaired. But it will cost more than the same boom.
