Motherboard M2N68-AM SE2 and 8GB RAM?
There is an M2N68-AM SE2 motherboard. I decided to buy a new processor and RAM for her. Processor AMD Athlon IIx4 645, 3.1GHz - according to reviews and information from the website of the motherboard manufacturer, it is compatible with it. Now it's up to RAM.
AIDA64 is silent on the maximum amount of memory that can be supplied. The manufacturer's website states that the motherboard supports only 4 GB of RAM. I would like to put 8 GB: two Kingston DDR2 4GB 800Mhz sticks for AMD. Question: will their motherboard or its "ceiling" still pull two bars of 2 GB each? Thanks in advance for your reply.
