Monitoring Engine

Hello, please advise some free engine that you could attach your own triggers to it.
For example, I want to monitor the weather or balance on my phone, and then admire the charts :)

If I understand correctly, then you do not need an engine, but some kind of script that will write some data to the database using cron, and a second script that will build graphs on this database?

If you have knowledge in PHP, you can take a look at pChart .
You can also take a look at Munin . It is enough to simply write a plugin for it, using only sh.

It is possible to add custom plugins to collect statistics via the standard API.
For display there is an excellent JavaScript library collectd.org/wiki/index.php/Jarmon

there is also Nagios+rrdtool. Plugins are written on anything.
