Modx Evo: automatically send news when they are added?

Good afternoon!
I have a "news" resource thread on my site with modx evolution. Each news is a child page with text information. On the news display page, using ditto, I display the news in the desired form. I want to implement a subscription to the newsletter on the site. Required functionality: a person specifies an email, it is entered into the database. When new news is added, a letter with the content of this news is sent to all users from the list. It happens right away or polling the list of news once per hour by krone - it doesn't matter. What solutions can you recommend?
I found the Easy Newsletter module, which provides a registration form, enters it into the database and seems to send it to the list. But, as I understand it, this is done only from the admin panel. Can I somehow activate this module to be sent when an event occurs, such as the appearance of a child page in the "news" container?

It seems to me easier to implement it myself, it seems to be not a very voluminous task
