There is little experience in communicating with plus signs at the university and pet projects. Then for a long time there was work on Sharpe. Now I want to somehow update the information on the current state of C ++. To re-read something like Stroustrup with all due respect to him .. there is no particular desire.
Maybe someone came across good articles of similar adaptation? Well, how is it working with pointers in 2018 (I overheard something about auto ..), libraries are more decent than stdio / using namespace std (boost, or is it already unfashionable too?) And then work right away after all the .NET functionality with naked Xi, according to the memories of 10+ years ago, it looks very painful.

I recommend Meyers, but this book is not for learning from scratch, but rather for upgrading to C ++ 11/14:

You can go to the courser and search there for courses on the pluses from Yandex (white and yellow belts). They seem to be all available for free for review, ie. If you don't want to do tasks, then you can watch everything.
Well, read books. There are many lists of good books.
