Good afternoon, guys,
please tell me who had experience with connecting payment terminals through this type of modem. The terminals are running Windows XP Embeded.
I connect the modem through the COM port, I can interrogate it, I can enter AT commands, i.e. connection is present.
As soon as I create a connection and start "dialing" so to speak, after dialing, error 692 is thrown out.

I used such modems to receive data from water meters. There was software on the computer through which dialing took place. _Very_ unstable connection. The most common mistake is "No carrier" (No carrier). Data is transmitted using CSD technology, which means time-based payment. Much depends on the carrier. The exchange rate with the COM port is also important, it seems that I set the minimum to 1200.
