Mobile menu and SEO. Should you avoid duplicates?

Good day.
Dear Colleagues, the question arose on the agenda regarding the duplication of the mobile menu in the layout of the site.
The bottom line is this: due to the peculiarities of the layout of the main menu, it is not possible to avoid repeating the menu code.
The main basic solution is media queries , at the breaking point we hide the main menu and show the mobile one.
It is confusing that a duplicate block appears in the document tree containing links to the same pages.
How will this decision affect the ranking of the page in search engines?
Thank you in advance.

Replacing content elements with media queries based on the screen size is a standard web design trick, so don't be afraid of it, in this case for sure.
