I bought myself a tablet with 3g and naturally the issue of mobile Internet became much more acute.
No matter how much I googled, I could not find a fresh, up-to-date review or discussion of the quality of the mobile Internet of our operators.
Now I have Beeline and in particular I am not satisfied with the fact that 1) 3g works in few places, 2) on half of my branch (Chkalovskaya - Maryina Roshcha) there is no connection at all, 3) on the other half there is Edge, but it works terribly slowly.
Accordingly, the question is - which operator today has the best quality (speed, coverage) of mobile Internet in Moscow?

I have MTC. There is practically no Internet (and communications in general) in the tunnels on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya from Kurskaya to Strogino. The same is true for Kalininskaya.
3G - yes, but very patchy. For example, I don't have 3G at home, but I already have it 300 meters away. Judging by the coverage map, there is “life” inside Sadovoye.

I recommend to google the pMetro program - it has a coverage map of all operators. But, emnip, only the ring is covered _completely_, i.е. and between stations. And almost all other branches are covered by communication only at the stations.

MTS on the circle line has 3G everywhere at stations + completely on short hauls (at the same time, at the corresponding interchange stations of radial branches, far from all).
At all other stations of other branches (but not in tunnels) EDGE is caught.
In the city - there are a lot of places (I won't dare to say everywhere) inside the Garden Ring - 3G, plus 3G coverage is available and works in many areas of the city "spots" - mainly where all sorts of business centers, etc.

Megafon almost everywhere catches 3g, both in Moscow and in the suburbs. My speed was 1.21Mbps on speedtest :)

Do not check the Internet in the subway during peak hours - it does not work in the subway either
