Mobile application from the site. webview? Will they let me into Google Play?

There is a browser-based online game, there is a desire to create a mobile application for it, but because rewriting all the functionality in another programming language is a completely unrealizable task in my case, I became interested in simpler ways.
I liked the option with WebView. Those. in theory, it looks like this:
We create a separate site template with layout for mobile devices, select a separate address and display this site through our application ala browser.
Those. in fact, the application serves as a wrapper and does nothing but display an external WEB site (well, it may also have a side menu).
In this case, hundreds of times less time, money and effort are spent on developing a mobile version of the game.
I am aware of the disadvantages and difficulties of this method of implementation, but now I am interested in something else - how does Google Play react to such applications ? Is it realistic to place a game (or any other application implemented in a similar way) in the application catalog? Will it be possible to add Admob ads (or similar)?

Of course, you can, at most they will ask you to confirm that this is your site, but this is more about the rights to the name and logo, and no one digs into the code of hundreds of downloadable applications, there would be a need to obfuscate - one could do this, partially rewrite it to native, but just partially, as far as time and money allow, for props, add some kind of "engine", apply JNI, and obfuscate.
