MMIO & Linux, who knows how it works?
I ran into a problem, the egpu video card does not work under linux. He opened an issue on freedesktop , where the maintainer reported that the problem was the lack of mmio resources, indicating that such a parameter might be in bios. It wasn't in bios. With all this, when launched in windows 10, everything works, which, as it were, indicates that the problem is a software one. Hence the question, how does windows 10 allocate pci resources, that everything works? Whether it is possible to make something similar, specified parameters of loading of a kernel of linux? And in general, am I digging in the right direction?
