Military university or civilian?
This year I plan to enter the Mozhaisky Military Academy in St. Petersburg (Military Space Defense) for the specialty of computer security (6th faculty).
I wanted to enter the AFSB, but I didn’t pass because of my health (I think I should go to the mozhayka).
So, the more reviews I read, the more doubts accumulate about this educational institution. Of course, you want to serve the Motherland, but you also want to have a good civil education later.
I plan to score about 240-260 with computer science, 230-240 with physics.
What can you say about this university? Will they give good knowledge there as a security guard? Still there is still a dream to serve in the FSB , can it be possible? Or is it better to go to the civilian world with my points?
UPD: the estimated score has increased to 270-290 (taking into account the 3rd degree student, which, unfortunately, is not taken at MIPT, without it 250-270). I am considering such options as HSE, ITMO, Baumanka. How does the quality of education in these universities compare with what is given in military universities?

I heard reviews from teachers about the military department - what kind of students are "oak", strictly according to the charter .. But if you are a robot, feel free to choose "Serve the Motherland", although it is not always clear to me whether the army really serves the Motherland ...
This is purely my opinion. Since our higher school is very mediocre, we will have to spend a lot of time on self-education. In civilian conditions, it will be more. After that, you can settle into the structure that you like. But with a high degree of probability, if you show worthy results of your studies at a university, you will be recruited.
For example, I am very pleased that I graduated from a military university.
Military University of the Ministry of Defense (VUMO RF) - Faculty of Sociology (civilian specialization - sociologist, teacher of sociology), military specialization - officer in the UCP and informing.
The career itself did not work out, our position was reduced in the army, hello to Serdyukov :) But the quality of education is at its best. They were forced to study, literally.
My friend got a very good job after the FSO Academy in Orel. The scholarship was about thirty thousand, in the second year, like a contract, he signed some kind of cash there immediately. patronage.
Now he works for the state, his wife is a model, he himself is like cheese in butter, he has not heard about the crisis. It was really incredibly difficult to study.
I graduated from the military academy of logistics and now I am employed and provided with housing. The quality of education in military universities is the same as in civilian ones, only there was no opportunity to "freebie" everything was done by ourselves.
