Migrating Mongodb to hot using rsync, no problem?

Good afternoon colleagues, maybe someone did, there is MongoDB in production (1 mongo instance is used, there are no replicas) you need to transfer the mongo data from /var/lib/mongodb to the hot one (I don’t want to do a dump because it all takes a long time) Whoever did rsync data to another server with mongo on a hot one? (If some new data is lost at the time of transfer, it's not scary) Will there be any problems? Or is it necessary to extinguish the monga anyway?
Monga version 3.2.11 I will transfer data to monga 3.4.9
Thanks for the answer

It won’t work, especially since the version is different, in the mongo console there was a command like cloneDB, copyFromDB, you can copy the database from another server on the go.
PS: you don't need to "extinguish" mongo for dump/restore.
