The License Review asks for information about the Microsoft software products that are most used in your organization. You are not required to provide information that is not listed in the Software Usage Report.
The Current Software Licensing Preliminary Report (ELOP), which is provided to you as part of this process, will give you an idea of improvement opportunities as well as help you draw important conclusions. This document contains information about the licensing status of software products included in the process, as well as information provided by you regarding this software. ELOP can be the basis of your own work to ensure and maintain license integrity.
In the "Software Used" tab, you must specify absolutely all products from Microsoft (purchased under volume licensing, OEM (pre-installed software) and FPPP (boxed licenses).
In the "Other ownership" tab, you only need to specify FPP and OEM licenses. That is, duplicate the information from the “Software Used” tab for OEM and Boxed Licenses and indicate proof of ownership.
But in order not to rewrite all the keys, you need to specify a maximum of 5 keys for each product of the same version and edition. (There are just 5 fields in the file).
For example, you have 15 Windows 7 PRO purchased pre-installed with a laptop (OEM license). All 15 keys do not need to be found and entered into the report. Any 5 is enough and we will automatically credit you the rest.
For those licenses where there is no key on the sticker (the information is erased, deformed or simply not indicated), you need to provide a scan of the invoice or waybill where this software is indicated.
If you would like to know more about the license verification procedure, the FAQ is attached to this post. I will gladly answer any of your questions. My contact details are at the end of this post.
Please note that if your organization purchases Microsoft licenses through a parent company or head office located outside of Russia, please let us know at the start of the evaluation process. It is possible that after studying this information, the verification process will be terminated.

Send of course.
No organization other than law enforcement has the right to check something with you.
So feel free to send.
But be prepared for the visit of law enforcement officers. For you will be stupidly attacked. That is, you should be all right with software licenses.
judging by Yandex and this topic, it's sales from microsoft that they want to
sell smartsourcing.ru/questions/283 licenses
What is described by you is done by audit companies from small-scale ones. I went through this stage. I needed this certificate, stating that all software in the company is licensed. You provide what you described, the auditors verify the information and issue a certificate for a year, stating that all your software is licensed. And when they visit you with a check, you just show the certificate and that's it.
As for random checks, this is the first time I hear this, maybe they want to sell you services.
about ten years ago, someone familiar with a degree, but far from a computer, received, it seems, 7ku, something like "your copy is not genuine, urgently eliminate it", filled out the fallen out form with his (!!!!!) data and through time I received a bunch of booklets from Microsoft in the mailbox at the entrance on the topic "they have already left for you, we have long hands, you pi # & ts"
in the end, people still bought, in my opinion, still with a new laptop, but spent money on a license, Yes,
but for Microsoft Business - print and mail, I
see no more than five dollars, the topic is still working
There was a similar conversation after purchasing the Volume License. There is nothing criminal, but you can ignore it.
What the hell is a divorce if the letter has a microsoft digital signature?
So far, nothing is required of you without fail, but this machine cannot be stopped, sooner or later the question will be posed point-blank.
But if you have a lot of different licenses, and a complex software structure, checking will help put them in order.
You yourself describe your installations and licenses in the report - specialists from macrosoftware check and recommend. It is not necessary to send a report at all - it is quite simple to understand, you can figure out what is missing for yourself.
After such a check, I bought more licenses. Without consequences in the form of a show mask
In the agreement to the Open License there is a clause that obliges you to pass this test.
Failure to comply with this clause will result in a clear breach of this agreement.
Microsoft says that in this case, the case will be referred to the legal. the Department.
What happens next is not clear. I didn't bring it up to this.
The consequences of the check are really non-binding and are presented by Microsoft as "assistance in the audit of licenses", the result of which will be recommendations for optimizing licenses.
I personally passed such check in several companies.
no need to be afraid, they filled out the plate as they want and received a certificate, but during the check there will be less chance that you will have it at all.
I filled it out exactly according to the number of faces, and not so honestly that I have 50 computers with pirates and other programs ...
but when I didn’t send to Microsoft, papers came from Verkhovodkovo and Partners LLC - apparently this is a Russian company whose they feed those who have not filled out, and they can already sue us and ask the Ministry of Internal Affairs for verification ...
