Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 how to install and configure?
Good afternoon. I have a question about MS Exchange Server 2007/2010. Picked up MS Windows Server 2008 R2 the other day. Now I wanted to practice installing and configuring a mail server from my favorite Microsoft company. The problem is that the IT manager doesn't give the provider's mx record. Is it possible to test the mail server for sending and receiving mail without mx records. If there are alternative mailers, can you advise and is it possible to find some other mx record from other providers or buy it yourself?
Currently on hand:
1) MS Server 2008R2 (DNS, AD, IIS) test version
2) Domain name
3) Static IP address
4) MS Exchange Server 2007/2010 (test version)

Send mail within a domain. An MX record is not needed in this case.
