MFP HP 1536dnf stopped scanning over the network. How to fix Windows?

Hello! The MFP has stopped scanning over the network. Registered on win serv 2003 r2 sp2 x32 over the network and everything was fine. But now it only works as a printer. The web interface is available. The device responds to ping, but when I try to scan (scan using OS tools), I get the message "An error occurred during the preview. If the scanner is in use, wait for its task to complete ..." At the same time, the scanner lamp travels from the parking lot to the opposite side and back.
What I did and did not help:
0) Reboot the MFP, Server, Router.
1) MFP firmware. (Now Firmware Date: 20140630)
2) Remove driver and install freshly downloaded from site (hp_M1530_MFP_Basic_usb_n_w.exe [1/1, 40.46M] Version 3.0.3.5253)
3) The HPPSdr.exe program (after unpacking by the archiver, it runs on win 2003) issued:
a) Device Manager - ok (tick in a green circle)
b) Device status - ok
c) Windows scanning (WIA) - Error, although the scanner lamp is on This stage went back and forth several times.
Further there was a recommendation to turn off the power of the printer, turn it on again and restart the computer. That's exactly what I did. After the reboot, the program offered to "continue" ... again passed stages "a" and "b", at the stage of Windows scanning (WIA - an error and the message "The tool could not solve the problem even after a reboot"
4) Checked the OS for viruses - clean.
HP tech support said they don't support win2003.
as if registering an MFP on another virtual machine - it scans. OS reinstallation is not possible. Tell me what else can be done?
PS I looked at the process monitor which dlls are used by the wiaacmgr.exe process, changed them from another OS, where the scanning has not yet broken - it did not help.
PS No. 2 I watched wireshark ... from errors such as "Expert Info (Warn / Sequence): Connection reset (RST)" how to understand which dll calls "Connection reset"?

@386DX

You can
a) check if the Windows Image Acquisition service is running
b) go to the printer properties in the device manager, copy the device ID (for example, this is how it looks like
SCSI\CdRomHL-XXXXXXXX_GUXXXN____AHX ) and look for drivers on it. it happens that drivers do not fit
in particular HP 1536dnf and hp_M1530_MFP is it one device or different?
c) check connectors, cables, etc. (but this is completely out of desperation)

I would advise you to uninstall the driver, then manually remove the services:
net stop "Pml Driver HPZ12"
net stop "Net Driver HPZ12"
sc delete "Pml Driver HPZ12"
sc delete "Net Driver HPZ12"
del C:\Windows\System32\HPZipm12.dll
del C:\Windows\System32\HPZinw12.dll
After that, try to install the scanner by hand, without installing the solution.
I wrote about how to do this here: habrahabr.ru/post/242513 I
have not encountered such a problem, but there are suspicions that the above services may interfere.
