MFP for office (I want advice)?
You need a large monochrome printer that will save energy and toner.
Also, it should not break, be reliable, because. basic.
Of course, network connection (RJ-45).
Now there is an old Canon IR 2020, it works, but the authorities are not satisfied with something. He needs a replacement.
Thanks in advance.

Xerox Phaser 3250 + there is a lan connection + there are high-capacity cartridges for sale
On the advice of a system administrator who worked at that time in a large government office, which only does what it does with paper, we bought a Xerox Phaser 3635MFP and do not regret it - a stream scanner, a copier, and even a built-in stapler, prints faster than you have time to go to it. Not a cheap device, but worth it.
If the printer is the same, it makes sense to look at a silent used one. equipment - for example - HP LaserJet 2430dtn has an estimated monthly load of 100k and a reinforced 14k cartridge. The cartridge is NOT chipped - which simplifies (cheapens) refilling.
Let's vote for Kyocera, more specifically for FS-3140MFP +
Number of pages per month - 200,000 Double-
sided printing, all pies. Able to scan in the ball network and mail.
Power saving mode is present.
The cartridges are being recharged.
There is only one hitch here, but is A3 relevant to you? :)
Kyocera FS-1035.
7,200 pages per refill, up to 14,000 with toner save enabled.
Network, Scan to Server Folder, Scan to Email, Duplex Scan with Auto Feed.
Autofeed when printing, automatic two-sided printing.
Web interface, all settings from there, very simple
In my opinion, the most optimal A3 is Ricoh. Maintenance is cheaper compared to Kyocera and Canon.
Even the ancient Aficio 2035 scans perfectly in bw PDF and sends it by mail. can combine documents on one sheet when copying. In addition, we use it to print large volumes of documentation - it does a good job.
The small Kyocera A4 MFPs have proven themselves very well. Cartridges are refilled. There are cheap chips for cartridges. (so you can track resources)
But the Kyocera TaskAlfa 500ci - a large color A3 disappointed. After a week of operation, the control board screwed up - they replaced it. Then the hard drives were covered, two of them - working in pairs - were also replaced. They calibrated it in different ways, but the colors are distorted. It takes a long time to wake up from sleep. The lower large box is not recommended to fill the sheets completely - it breaks over time.
