Mechanical keyboard in the office - how to make the click less loud?
I bought myself a mechanical keyboard with Otemu Blue switches (similar to Cherry MX blue). While I was on vacation, I used it at home without problems (I live alone, the sound does not annoy me). Came out of vacation and naturally brought it to the workplace. As expected, "tension in the air" was not long in coming. I would like to avoid conflict. Hence the question: how can the key travel be made less sonorous? Or simply ignore the dissatisfied? How did you/those act in such a situation?

Ignoring those who are dissatisfied is bad for karma (in a vital, not in a religious sense), no matter what position you take.
The solution is to buy a new keyboard for the office, check the sound volume before buying.
In general, I sincerely do not understand the hype around the mechanics.
Just make it a rule that a good keyboard can't cost less than $100
I've had https://market.yandex.ru/product--logitech-gaming-... for many years - it works great, while the sound is very quiet.
The click is a feature of the switch, and those that are are not quieter. Buy a new clave with mx silent red for example.
As for how to make the click less loud - I don’t know, maybe in no way - you need to disassemble the keyboard (if there is a guarantee - think three times before that!), Look.
As for the "dissatisfied" - it all depends on what position you occupy in the office - a manager, a leading specialist, just a specialist, June ...
If, for example, an ordinary programmer brings his keyboard to the office with a click (and how the mechanics hearsay :) ) I'll just go to his boss - as a result, either the programmer will have an ordinary low-noise membrane, or there will be no programmer :)
With management and leading specialists, such a number will not work, of course - you have to think where to put it :)
The click consists of two components - the click of the mechanism and the click of the key as such. Silicone rings exist to minimize the second component.

I would buy some and try it to see if the problem is solved.
If it doesn't help, there are other switches.
And it's unnatural to carry a keyboard from home :)
