Mail hosting for your own domain?

To begin with, I like the mail hosting for the domain that Yandex provides, and I don’t like some kind of default mail client that often comes with hosting (as a rule, they are poor in design and functionality).

The question is: are there worthy mail hosters used by IT people. I want to move from Yandex.

Google Apps 4 eur for 1 domain seems expensive to me. What are the reliable alternatives?

Yandex, Mail.ru, GMail - they all provide mail on your domain.
All are free.

You can configure gmail to pick up mail from your server. I also sent it through yours.
