Mail.app version 7.0 on OS X 10.9: smart folders not working, do you?

I use Mail.app, I set up two mail accounts via IMAPS, in 10.8.5 everything worked fine in the 6.5 mail client.

Now smart folders have stopped working, that is, they are always empty. Tried different filters for them. The standard ones such as "Today" and "Checked with a flag" do not work, I create any new ones - they also do not work - they are empty.

I tried to rearrange the client, recreate mail accounts, even tried to pull the old version of the client from the backup, it does not start on the new OS. All in all, this is a real inconvenience.

Am I the only one so lucky? Are smart folders working for you after the update?

Still, he himself found the answer in the off Spotlight.
We turn it on:
sudo launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.metadata.mds.plist
sudo mdutil -a -i on
and everything starts working.

Disk Utility => Select a disk with the system => click the "Restore Permissions" button
and restart the computer
