MacOS does not see the Wacom tablet, what should I do?

Good evening. Please let me know if anyone has come across this problem.

Given:
Laptop MacBook Air M1 - MacOS Big Sur 11.6
Graphic tablet Wacom Bamboo Pen Touch (rather ancient, but still works fine on Windows) I
connect via an adapter from USB to Type-C.

Situation:
The tablet is connected, reacts to swipes with fingers (it works like a touchpad), but does not react to the pen. The buttons on the tablet also work, perform the usual actions (forward, backward, RMB, LMB). The buttons on the pen do not work.
In Wacom Desktop Center, the tablet does not appear, it says "There are no connected devices."

Drivers are the latest downloaded from the official site. It also claims that the tablet works with Big Sur after dancing with a tambourine in the privacy settings. There should be a check mark for Wacom products in the "Accessibility" and "Input Monitoring" sections. I did this, rebooted, but it did not help. The tablet program still does not see it and the pen still does not work.

I could have sinned on the adapter, but in my understanding, if the adapter was a curved tablet, it would not work at all. But the touchpad and buttons work. Everything is fine with the pen, I checked it on Windows.

Help me please :(

@lambesis

Turns out Wacom stopped supporting my Mac tablet.
The unofficial driver helped, installed it and everything works like a clock.
