Machine translation from one language to another

The task is to translate the news site into Russian. The whole difficulty lies in the fact that the content contains various html tags that need to be left unchanged.
I tried Google api using one npm package, but it leaves unnecessary spaces in the tags, and translates some tags into Russian. I tried using phantom.js to go to the Google translator site, inserted a link to the site page and translated, I was redirected to the page with the frame containing the translation, but I can’t get access to the contents of the frame, probably, due to security policies, it’s impossible to do this (or maybe ?).
What are the elegant solutions to accomplish this task? I will be glad to any advice. Prompt decisions (does not care what yaP) or tools.
