Machine Learning with weak math?

Friends, hello!
There is a very strong desire to study Machine Learning. I got acquainted with the course of the University of Washington on Coursera, but faced with the fact that I have a very weak (if not almost zero) mate. preparation, in connection with which there were problems in understanding, in general, simple things, like a linear function (not to mention gradient descent) and why the author does this and that in this or that case.
I don’t want to retreat, so the question is: what books on mathematics can I start with in order to move from this point?
I will be glad to any advice.

You will get acquainted with:
"Course of Mathematical Analysis" (Kudryavtsev) 3 volumes
"Course of Higher Mathematics" (Smirnov)
"Discrete Mathematics for Programmers" (Novikov)

Close the OGE from more, then linear algebra (matrices, etc.) the author is Written, then close everything Written, Gmurman.

I myself am suffering with the same problem.
From the textbooks, the best I have seen, where they are directly accustomed to mathematical thinking and give understanding from the very basics:
A course in differential and integral calculus (In 3 volumes) Fikhtengolts G.M.
After him, you can master Kudryavtsev, they go almost straight topic to topic, but Fikhtengolts explains everything in more detail and in more detail.
