Machine learning after web development. Is it real?

Hello, I'm a beginner programmer, so I'm asking for advice. I'm very interested in machine learning with Python, but it's quite a complex topic, and before I dive into it completely, I want to create some kind of airbag for myself. So I started learning web development. Question: is it realistic to study web development in html, css and js first, and then continue studying machine learning in python (while working as a freelancer) and go to work in this area? In general, can a person master this?

Yes really. A friend of mine is already writing a diploma in ML, while working as a full-time pythonist-web developer. I think that after a while he will start looking for work in this area.

first web development on html, css and js, and then continue studying machine learning
html and css are not programming languages. When studying ML, you still have to decently sink into mathematics. Prepare mentally :)

Now quite serious programs are taught in schools, even general education ones.
I personally had probabilities, statistics and analysis.
I think it's quite possible, if there is interest. You won’t be able to go deep - you will at least be content with ready-made solutions, like tensor flow and so on.
And about the web and freelancing - listen to "you can't" - it's not worth it. I first developed a cryptocurrency exchange in the form of a bot in a cart at the age of 16 to order, and very successfully. True, there was not quite freelancing here, but rather an acquaintance on the forum with an interested person who does not ask questions about how old you are, whether you have a diploma. The point here is not that at your 15 years old you cannot, but that it is, in principle, difficult. And not the development itself, but the search for a client.
It will be easier for you to look for internships for schoolchildren. Yandex does serious things, for example.
I also highly recommend finding support in the form of a mentor. For me, growing up, for example, turned out to be expensive in terms of time before the first commercial project for me.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
