MacBook Air + UnifiAP = 50Mb/s?

Is it possible to get more speed? Right next to the AP, the maximum speed is 50 megabits / s. After two walls it drops to 25-30 even when the AP is configured to 20dbm. With all the trickery of this AP, the speed is the same, if not less, than on the country Belkin :(

What kind of encryption do you have? WPA2+AES?
+ try to put the mode n-only (without support for b-, g-modes), if it's possible there.
