Mac os x: remap ctrl key to other key combination?

Good afternoon!
The Ctrl key on the macbook stopped working, I decided to reassign it to another key or key combination, do not tell me which way to go?
osx, yosemite

You can change it to caps lock if you don't use it.

system preferences -> keyboard -> modifier keys
