ls hangs when a network share has been mounted for a long time. How to kill?

Hello. There is a mounted cifs resource from another server. This server rebooted, but the resource on the linux machine was not unmounted. Now, when trying to list a directory above the mounted ls, it just hangs and does not respond to anything. How is it correct in this case, firstly, to kill ls, and secondly, to tell the system to unmount or remount this ball?
Thank you all in advance.

@Zarom

Ctrl+C to try and stop ls.
If there is no reaction, then from another console killall -s KILL ls
Thenmount -o remount <файловая система>
