Live Usb Linux Server

There is an old laptop with a broken display, no HDD. But with the ability to boot from USB.
There is a desire to make a router out of it, which would distribute the Internet.
Accordingly, it should raise PPPoE, NAT'it the whole thing, + HTB shaping.
Once upon a time I saw a ready-made distribution kit for such cases. But the search day was not found.

Yes, you can build from scratch yourself only what you need.
But this takes time.
And if there are already ready ones, it is better to use them.
If who knows, prompt similar ready distribution kits.

Poke PfSense, Zeroshell.
And by the way, don't get too hung up on finding exactly live usb. From the point of view of nixes, USB drives are full-fledged block devices and you can install an OS and a bootloader on them.

Why do you need live USB in this place? headless linux systems running full. Install over the network via ssh debian and use.
