Well, for now, there may not even be any sensible literature, except for manuals on blogs and other things, so the specifications will help you, I'm still guided by them:
dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html
www.veign.com/ downloads/guides/qrg0009.pdf
www.khronos.org/files/webgl/webgl-reference-card-1_0.pdf
dev.w3.org/html5/canvas-api/canvas-2d-api.html
I think for your purposes it will be easier to dribble towards canvas frameworks.
For example:
http://habrahabr.ru/search/?q=libcanvas
http://raphaeljs.com/
David Flanagan - Canvas Pocket Reference.Scripted Graphics for HTML5 2010
Rob_Hawkes-HTML5 Canvas for games & entertainment-2011-ebook
S.Fulton, J.Fulton - HTML5 Canvas - 2011
And I'm more interested in browsers. Share links, please, if you have.
