Linux Mint with Dual Boot. Is it worth it?

I'm going to switch to Linux Mint Cinamonn from Windows, but since Windows is sometimes needed, I want to make Dual Boot. The laptop has two SSDs. I don't want to put Windows and Linux on the same disk because they write on the Internet that:

1. Updating Windows can damage GRUB.
2. If Linux crashes, Windows will also crash (and vice versa)

There is now a file cleaner on the second disk. I want to leave half of the disk for file cleaning in Windows, and allocate the other half for Mint. Is it possible to do so?

@Zoominger

Maybe.
But why? They would twist it in a virtual machine and not take a steam bath.
And the bootloader of both Windows and Shvabodogo is easily restored in case of damage, there are a lot of instructions.
