Linux Mint requires the Intel RST driver to be disabled. Will this harm Windows, and if so, how to get around it?

Good day! (My first question). Ran into a problem while installing Linux Mint requires disabling Intel RST. I know how to do this (I found a video on English-language YouTube), but I'm afraid it won't harm Windows? Thanks in advance.
